In 1968, André Canonica, founder of the SWISSCANONICA Group, decided to launch his own chocolate brand respecting the artisanal processes that hearken back to the great Swiss chocolate traditions. CANONICA chocolate was born. 

Our chocolates are hand-made in our own Swiss laboratory by our award-winning chocolatiers who use only the finest ingredients in order to create a memorable and original flavor, enrobed creatively into delicate shapes.

CANONICA CHOCOLATE

Behind any great chocolate is the expertise of a Master Chocolatier and his team of expert chocolatiers. For many years, our Chef Samuel Romagné has imagined and created all of Canonica chocolates.

Exceptional cocoa beans, intoxicating fruits and spices and beautiful coatings help showcase extraordinary creativity. Bonbons and ganaches form the heart of the collection, which also includes unique creations embellished in brilliant colours that are hand made one by one, like true works of art.

Through the years, our Master Chocolatier has received a number of awards for his work : first prize for best chocolate during the International Chocolatiers Fair in Geneva in 2013;  finalist at the Swiss Chocolate Master in 2015; Geneva Grand Prize of Artisanal Chocolate in September 2016. 

In October 2016, his spreads – the newest additions to the collections – received bronze at the Swiss Bakery Trophy in Bulle. Visit our website
